Gretchen Ratcliff Sawyer is the creator of ZENWRITERS. She is a writer, screenwriter, literary visionary, and winner of the Abraham Polonsky Prize in Critical Writing. Her critical essays on James Baldwin, and Writers, Hollywood, and Leveling the Playing Field, were published in two literary journals. She is also an accomplished screenwriter. Her TV Pilot drama Watu-Wazuri...Beautiful People: RISE; teen comedy feature Tootie Shining...Talk Show Host and her adult comedy webseries 50 Dreams & The Hustle Theory have all placed in 15 global screenwriting competitions in 2023. In Corporate America, Gretchen is an accomplished technical writer specializing in writing about cyber security, cyber espionage, data protection and cloud management. From dynamic press releases, media alerts, and speeches, to powerful content for websites, to SLED/Federal proposals and instruction materials, Gretchen has written for mega-corps like AT&T, Apple, Lumen Technologies, Adaptive Research and Biotechnologies and Cordis Corp. She has also written for public television and is an expert in writing dynamic Professional Bios, Corporate Profiles, Content and Compelling Narrative. Gretchen developed the ZENWriter's Power Language Formula.
